Petrotech started its voyage in 1977 from South India as Marwari family-run business. The company used to deal primarily in the manufacturing of mosquito nets at a very small scale and sell it at Indian Railway Stations.
Due to the non-availability of polymer required for manufacturing mosquito nets, the group first time imported raw materials on a barter system. It was the Learning phase for the group to import.
Taste of Trade
Started trading imported polymer to other manufacturers.
The group started spreading its wings across South India with various mergers and acquisitions. It was the Expansion phase.
The group enters into the market of polymers in North Indian regions like Delhi, Indore, Jaipur & many others.
Started taking selling rights of overseas Petrotech chemical companies for the Indian sub-continent.

Major petrochemical companies started distribution through Petrotech's channels due to its commitment and honesty in the DA facilities for the group companies.
Total distribution of domestic petrochemical companies reached 9.
The group has built its own warehousing space of around 50,000 sq. ft. at Banglore to store various polymers for distribution.
Globalising Brand Image
The group decided to enter into Western India with its first operation at commercial capital, Mumbai. This year was the turnaround for the group as the first time it has been decided to add more products into the basket to change the image from polymer trading house to petrochemical raw material house.
Petrotech Group of Companies
With a long list of satisfied customers, the group decided to fulfill the thrust of the industry by entering into the chemicals and allied products. The same year, the group was named "Petrotech Group of Companies" for the mass appeal of the company's products.

With product addition, storage capacity also increased by multifold to around 1,50,000 sq. ft; owned warehouses at various locations.

Petrotech started recycling its own waste from the captive plants with an annual capacity of more than 8000 MT.
Petrotech has collaborated with overseas calcium carbonate manufacturers on technical knowledge sharing and developed products for the Indian filler and masterbatch industry.
